She studied piano with Frank Sheridan of New York City's Mannes School and Vladimir Sokoloff in Philadelphia, and holds academic degrees from Barnard College (B.A.) and the University of North Carolina (M.A.in musicology). |

Flicka Rahn is an internationally known performer, teacher, and composer. She has recently retired as Professor of Voice at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she taught for twenty-two years. She has also served on the faculties of Brandeis University, the Boston Conservatory of Music, and the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. |
